When will my bin be cleaned?
We will confirm your cleaning day once your booking has been processed and this will be within 24 hours of your refuse collection on the notified date.
So can I take in my bins on bin day?
By all means bring your bins in from the boundary, but if you could leave them where we can see them and we will relocate them for you afterwards.
Can I put rubbish in the bin after it has been emptied, but before you clean it?
We would ask that you do not put any rubbish in the bin before we clean it.
What happens if my clean falls in a Bank Holiday week?
We may call a day later.
When is payment due?
Payment is due prior to your first wheelie bin cleaning taking place. Future payments need to be paid within 14 days of receiving your bill. Please note that we continue cleaning your bins on a monthly basis unless you inform us that you wish to cancel our services.
How do I pay?
You can pay by Internet Banking or over the phone by debit or credit card.

What happens to my bin once it’s been cleaned?
After cleaning, your bin will be relocated to its specified location or left on your boundary. We place a London Bin Hygiene sticker on you bin after the initial clean, so it is easily identified to you and us.
How will I know that my bin’s been cleaned?
It will smell fresh, look clean and it will have been replaced to your specified location.
Do I need to be there while my bin is being cleaned?
No you don’t just make sure your bin is left somewhere that we can see it.
What happens if the council have not emptied my bin?
Our cleaner will make a note and we will update our office record accordingly.
How do I know how many times my bin has been cleaned?
We keep detailed computerised records of the amount of cleans used, if you have a query at any time please email or call us and we will be only to glad to give you that information.
I’ve come home and my bin hasn’t been cleaned?
Of course we will always endeavour to clean your bin on the day stated. However, if for any reason the bin has not been emptied, you have placed more rubbish in the bin or the bin was not available that does make our job a little difficult. Please Contact Us and we will discuss other arrangements with you.
What happens during Christmas/New Year?
We close for two weeks over the Christmas and New Year period. On commencement of our service, scheduled cleaning dates are confirmed to our customers in writing.
When does my contract end?
If you have booked regular bin cleaning, either annually or quarterly, you will receive an invoice for the following period after your last paid clean. If you do not wish to continue with our service, please confirm by email to info@londonbinhygiene.co.uk or by calling our office.
Can I put out a different bin for cleaning?
No, we will clean the bin you have booked to be cleaned, however one-off cleans are available. Please contact us to book.
